As you can see in the 360-degree panoramic picture below, FOTR’s Hyperball/Speedball field does not use the traditional inflatable barricades but instead uses black plastic culverts. (Click image for larger picture) This is also the field where tournaments are played. They simply roll the culverts to one side
and install the inflatable barricades. Once the tournament is over, it’s a simple process to replace the culverts and be ready for the next weekend’s games. The dark fence in the distant center of the photo is the alleyway that people with masks on can watch the game. This is the divider between the Hyperball and District fields. So if you time it right you could actually get to see two exciting games at one time – one on the Hyperball field and one on District! For spectators without masks, they can stand behind the tall, dark netted fence that can be seen at the sides of the photograph.(Pictures here Videos 12 ) One of the most talked about fields is Castle. As you can see in the pictures it is a large structure with two stories and many windows. The pictures also show that new construction is taking place here too. The people at FOTR never stop working to make their fields better! Future plans for this field include more manmade structures and walls to hide behind while besieging the Castle and moving some of the current structures around to better balance the field tactical positions. This field extends into the woods on all sides to allow for stealthy flanking maneuvers as well. (More pictures here) (Watch video here) (Updated pictures coming soon!) The smallest field at FOTR is Fuel Depot. It is usually reserved for parties with fewer than 20 attendees as it measures only 30’ x 250’ with 55 gallon “fuel” barrels, two jeeps and slight tree cover.
